Sometimes things are so unexpected and we question God... Ember was such a wonderful person inside and out, so we must find solidity in our faith. We all must deal with loss in our lives and we must trust in God's Word to get us through. Ill be praying for the family for strength, understanding and healing.

I will always have a lasting memory of Ember who was younger than I but I highly admired. She was a woman’s of character, integrity, grace and style. I will anyways love you Ember.

Ember, you lit up every room you entered. You moved around with good energy that made everyone around you just smile and want to just enjoy life. You had a beautiful mind and always looked out for everyone. I remember during Tersoo Awunde’a wedding when he told me I was going to have to chaperone you and your sisters. I quickly realised the leader you were and how you loved being a big sister. I will never forget the wedding party and the time we spent at beer barn in Abuja with friends. You will be greatly missed and I can’t believe I will not see you again, at least not on earth but I look forward to meeting you in heaven. Rest in God’s bosom Benue Beauty. You were fully loved .

Ember was in every sense a treasure to the Tiv Community USA. It was always a delight to see her at MUTA because you were assured of a warm and welcoming embrace from her. The quintessential community organizer, Ember relished youth engagement and was equally quick to challenge the elders on the work that needed to be done. It is so hard to believe that the Ember I saw at a wedding in September 2022, and who danced the night away, has gone to be with the Lord. We can only be consoled by the indelible memories of her life here on earth. I have every reason to believe that God tapped her to return home because HE needed an expert organizer for heavenly events. On behalf of the entire Ugbahbunch, I offer heartfelt condolences to the Ahua family & the Tiv Family USA. Tar ver nen!

Ember, I still can't see well enough through the tears to type this. I have been waiting for when you will make that trip to Portland and now this. I will never be able to refer to you in past tense because the Ember Ahua I know does not die, death does not suit her, you can't mention her and death in the same breath. You will live in our hearts forever. You are only sleeping. Goodnight sis. Love you forever.
